Marvel Snap’s Savage Land Season Begins January 3, 2023! New maps, new locations, new season pass and new strategies: here is all the information you need to know before setting out again to conquer the ranks of the card game.
January 3, 2023 marks the start of school in France, but above all it marks the start of the new season of Marvel Snap. The Silver Surfer gives way to the Wild Land season, which honors the beasts and their masters. Players lose three ranks in the standings, as is usual with each new season.

The Wildland Season Pass
The Season Pass star map is Zabu, 3 Energy and 2 Power, reducing the cost of 4 Energy cards by 2 Energy. Specifically, this means that with a zabu placed in turn 3, you can play two 4-cost cards in turn 4. The synergies with the “Zoo” compositions and especially with the famous Kazar map will be fun to find.

In addition to this card, which can be obtained for €11.90 and by completing 50 levels of the Season Pass, several other cards appear in the game, included in the rotations of the highest collection levels.
- Sauron : Revealed card that negates the continuous effects of the hand and Deck.
- Shanna : Revealed card that adds a 1-cost card to the other slots.
- blenders : Continuous map that will be part of the “Zoo” strategies, with strength +6 if locations have 4 maps.
- shadow king : Revealed card that resets the power of the cards in place, removing the penalties but also the bonuses.
5 new locations appear in Marvel Snap
The shaky bridge is an unstable place where maps are in jeopardy. If there is more than one card in the loose pile at the end of a round, they are all destroyed. Be careful not to overload this fragile place too much.
The Altar of Death is a sacrifice slot that you can use to gain energy in the next turn. If you put a card on the Altar of Death, it will be destroyed immediately, but you will gain 2 energy. Use this location sparingly to maximize your profits.
The mountains of eternity are a painful place whose effect activates after turn 3. The player who loses at the location takes a useless Pebble card from their deck.
plunder castle is a space reserved exclusively for 6-cost cards. Which maximize the strategies that allow to finish in a last overpowered round that gives points to the other fields.
The collapsed mine is a slot filled with Caillou cards. If you pass, you can destroy and play on all rock cards in the collapsed mine. A strategy that can be assembled with Solar or at the very beginning of the game.
