Newly single Katie Holmes dresses up for a business meeting in NYC… a month after splitting from Bobby Wooten III
A month after their last romance ended, Dawson’s Creek graduate Katie Holmes dressed up for a business meeting in New York City on Tuesday.
The Ohio-born, 44-year-old wore a black quilted jacket over a red plaid shirt, baggy blue jeans and white sneakers.
Katie – who wore aviator shades over her makeup-free complexion – also carried a large black leather handbag and black tote bag during her outing.

Holmes is newly single after ending her eight-month romance with much younger bassist Bobby Wooten III in early December because “they just didn’t work together in the long run,” according to Us Weekly.
Star director Alone Together is currently in rehearsals for her role as movie star Julia Cheever in the Roundabout Theater Company’s Off-Broadway production of The Wanderers, with previews beginning January 26.
Barry Gem is directing Anna Ziegler’s play about Orthodox Jewish newlyweds, which officially opens February 16 and runs through March 26 at the Laura Pels Theater in Manhattan.

It’s over: Holmes is newly single after ending her eight-month romance with much younger bassist Bobby Wooten III (L, pictured September 29) in early December because “they just didn’t work together in the long run”.
Katie previously starred in two previous Broadway productions for The Shubert Organization – Arthur Miller’s All My Sons at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theater in 2008-2009 and Theresa Rebeck’s comedy Dead Accounts at the Music Box Theater in 2012-2013.
In 2021, Holmes directed her third directorial effort, Rare Objects, an indie flick about a traumatized woman (Julia Mayorga) who works in an antique shop.
The producer and writer of Almost a Year told Yahoo! Entertainment last July that she enlisted the singing talents of her “talented” 16-year-old daughter Suri Cruise for her theatrical adaptation of Kathleen Tessaro’s 2016 novel.

Holmes has custody of the precocious teenager from her six-year marriage to Top Gun: Maverick action star Tom Cruise, which ended in 2012.
Worryingly, the 60-year-old Oscar nominee hasn’t been pictured with his youngest child in a decade, despite his custody arrangement requiring “10 days of visitation a month,” according to Us Weekly.
Some speculate Tom’s alleged estrangement has to do with Katie and Suri “rejecting the Church of Scientology” and followers not being associated with SPs (oppressors).
