André Marques, who left Globo in May 2022 after 27 years with the channel, took to social media this Tuesday (3) to warn that he had blocked some followers and colleagues from his profiles on digital platforms. Through Instagram stories, the presenter broke the news, sharing that the criterion for breaking the digital connection with the people he chose was irrelevant to the animator. Moreover, Marques encouraged his followers to do the same.

“Time to clean up the networks. People who don’t add anything, fake colleagues, fake friends, ungrateful people and things like that. Do it too, it will do you good. I started last year and will continue this year,” wrote André Marques. He carries his avatar with his hands and eyes closed as if in prayer to his nearly 3 million followers.
The moderator also touched on people he met while working at Globo. The communicator left the channel in May 2022, after 27 years with the company. He met and worked with many people behind the scenes at the station. Like Mocotó, he directed six seasons of Malhação (19952000), in addition to the years he spent in front of Vídeo Show, The Voice + and The Voice Kids.

“I’m just grateful. And after these almost 30 years of a happy, faithful and loving marriage… We talked a lot and in mutual agreement we decided to separate on paper,” explained André at the time of his departure from Globo.
