Elisa Lucinda Sends Regina Duarte Message After Actress Posted Fake : ‘Stop Being Undemocratic’

Actress Elisa Lucinda messaged Regina Duarte after her professional colleague with fake news on her Instagram profile. The former culture minister in Jair Bolsonaro’s government said the banner used by Lula at the inauguration was not genuine, noting the differences from the piece used in 2019.

In the comments to Regina’s publication, Elisa commented: “Respect the Presidentelect. Stop being antidemocratic. (…) The class is shocked by you, Regina. A beautiful story you have written and you are trying to erase it.” Accept the outcome of the elections. Or stop saying the word democracy.”

In addition to visiting Regina’s profile on social networks, Elisa also commented on the situation during the inauguration of Margareth Menezes as Minister of Culture: “I went to Regina Duarte’s page to comment because I’m not a hater. I just said a touch of thought, I will not offend anyone on anyone’s side, we must move forward, get out of our bubbles, we must reclaim what has been lost, we must have the courage to speak up, have the other side there for the people who take their side.”

At his third presidential inauguration, Lula wore the same sash he had worn during his previous two inaugurations, in 2003 and 2007. The piece in question dates from the time of Fernando Collor de Mello and was also worn by Dilma Rousseff in 2015.

The banner used by Bolsonaro when he was sworn in in 2019 was bought by the Petista himself. It was also used by Dilma in 2011.

When the current President first took office in 2003, the headdress used had been acquired by Collor in 1991, in an identical version to the previous one used since the dictatorship.
