While “Sister Wives” viewers clearly enjoy all the drama on screen, it sometimes has a negative impact on Christine and Kody Brown’s daughter, Gwendlyn.

The former couple’s daughter, 21, continues to share her perspective of the show on her recently launched YouTube channel, where she recaps the final season of the TLC series. Last season, of course, highlighted her mother’s decision to leave Kody — which often led to some very tense outbursts from her father.

In a new video released earlier this week, Gwendlyn was asked by a fan if “hearing everything your dad says about your mom affects your relationship with your dad?”

“Yes. It’s very funky for me,” she replied. “Personally, my dad is sweet to me now. We’ve had our differences in the past but we’re getting better and since we’re not around each other that much we can’t be that angry at each other. “

“But when I watch the episodes, I tend to dislike him a little bit,” she added. “I just have to remember that he’s going through a difficult time and it’s tough for everyone. He’s still my dad and he’s still nice to me.”

She was also asked if she ever noticed her father ‘putting down, berating or blaming’ her mother growing up – but Gwendlyn said she doubted he would have, adding: ‘He’s not who Guy who bullies for no reason.”

Another fan wondered why fourth woman Robyn was “the only woman who has never worked but uses the most resources/needs the most help” — something Gwendlyn noted was “a loaded question” before she answered to that.

“Robyn is technically working on ‘My Sisterwife’s Closet’ and since it’s not as successful as we would like or they would like it to be, it’s likely to be very overwhelming and may require a lot of free time and energy to go about it work that,” she shared, referring to the family’s seemingly closed jewelry website. The 21-year-old then added: “I don’t know, with all due respect.”

During the fan Q&A, Gwendlyn also shared that “while not all get along with every single family member,” all are “close to at least one other person in our family” — a family that includes Kody, his four wives, and his 18 children.

She added that she regretted not being able to attend the memorial service for Meri’s mother, Bonnie – and said she “didn’t support her and I wish I could have gone back and changed that” – before finally sharing if she had to run one of her online comments from her family or lawyers before posting.

“I don’t have a contract. I don’t have to direct it from anyone,” she said. “I choose to direct a few things … but I can say what I want and I’m not required by contract or law to keep my mouth shut.”
