Janet Jackson posted a sweet tribute to her son Eissa for his sixth birthday on Tuesday night.

The 56-year-old singer-songwriter shared a photo with a white background and black writing, which read: “To my beautiful baby Eissa, Happy 6th Birthday! I LOVE you and I’m so proud of who you are!’

She added several kissing emojis, followed by birthday cake and noisemaker emojis.

Beginning to understand her fame: Last month, Janet took to Today to talk about her new tour, which will start next spring, although she also spoke about her son (pictured in 2019).

She captioned the photo with simple hands making a heart emoji.

Several of Jackson’s famous friends and fans wrote in the comments, including Ciara, who wrote, “Eissa!! We love you so much!’

Jackson shares Eissa with her ex-husband Wissam Al Mana. She and Wissam officially split just months after Eissa’s birth.

She announced a few days later that more dates had been added, with Ludacris joining the tour as a special guest.

The 40-date tour will traverse the United States with stops in Atlanta, Nashville, New York City, Toronto, Detroit, Houston and Los Angeles.

The tour concludes June 21 at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington.

Jackson also teased that new music will be released sometime in 2023, although no further details have been released.
