Andy Cohen has broken his silence on Ryan Seacrest’s claims the host snubbed him as they stood 10 feet apart in Times Square on New Year’s Eve in New York City.
On Wednesday morning, Cohen, 54, took to his show Radio Andy on Sirius XM to insist he was not avoiding Seacrest, 48.
“He’s into me. Two weeks in a row,” Andy began, referring to Ryan. Then Cohen claimed he didn’t notice Seacrest even though they were in close proximity. ‘I did not see him.’
No I haven’t! Andy Cohen has broken his silence on Ryan Seacrest’s claims the host snubbed him as they stood 10 feet apart in Times Square on New Year’s Eve in New York City
Cohen added that he also never saw his co-star Anderson Cooper acknowledge Seacrest.
Ryan had said on LWKAR that Cooper gave him a friendly wave, but Cohen didn’t turn around.
“I don’t even know what I did, I haven’t seen Anderson [Cooper] turn around and wave,” the father-of-two offered.
“Usually Anderson does…usually when he waves to Ryan he says to me, ‘Hey, there’s Ryan.’ You know what I mean? Yes. And then I turn and wave or I say, “There’s Ryan,” but he didn’t.”
Then Andy Anderson called during the live show for his input.
Confronting the drama: On Wednesday morning, Cohen, 54, went to his Sirius XM show to insist he didn’t snub Seacrest, 48, but simply didn’t see him
No problem: Cohen added that he also never saw his co-star Anderson Cooper acknowledge Seacrest. Ryan had said on LWKAR that Cooper gave him a friendly wave, but Cohen didn’t turn around. “I don’t even know what I did, I haven’t seen Anderson [Cooper] turn around and wave,” the father-of-two offered
“Oh, you’re implicating me in something with Seacrest,” Anderson said while on the phone with Cohen.
“This is a ‘you and me’ thing because on the show he said you turned around very politely and waved at him and promised him with your mouth to have a good show and I didn’t turn around.” said Cohen.
‘Right. Or Happy New Year or something,” Cooper shared.
Andy then said, “The point I just made on the show was usually when one of us sees Ryan and turns around and waves, we’ll say to the other, ‘Oh, there’s Seacrest.'” So I say, you didn’t say that to me this year.’
BUG: ‘He has a bug because of me. Two weeks in a row,” Andy began, referring to Ryan
Anderson then said, “I didn’t do that. I’m sorry if that was a mistake on my part. I thought I saw you wave or something.”
Andy replied: “Thanks for clarifying that. I did not see him.”
Andy was in the news on Tuesday when Seacrest was on Live! With Kelly and Ryan that Cohen doesn’t acknowledge him as he’s only 10 feet away from him.
He then added that Cooper was cordial, however.
Deny, Deny, Deny: Then Cohen claimed he hadn’t seen Seacrest even though they were in close proximity. “I did not see him”; Andy and Anderson
But Ryan’s TV co-host Kelly Ripa – who is close friends with Cohen – interrupted Seacrest, arguing that Andy tried to say hello but couldn’t get Ryan’s attention after several attempts.
It all seems to come down to what he said/he said in a feud between Cohen and Seacrest that has raged over the years.
The topic came up as Ryan seemed upset by the alleged snub from Cohen, the host of Watch What Happens Live on Bravo.
“It was fun because my big stage was right in front of Anderson and Andy,” Ryan began. “When I wasn’t working, I was trying to get their attention.”
She Says No: Kelly Ripa, who was partying at home with husband Mark Consuelos, said Andy tried to say hello, which is awkward because Andy insisted on Wednesday he had never seen Ryan
Seacrest then explained that they were so close that they may have been on each other’s screens.
“I thought I might be in the [CNN camera] shot,” he added. “I just wanted to wave and say hello.”
Next, Ryan gave props to Andy’s co-star Cooper.
“You have a great show. And Anderson, the best. He turns around and says, ‘Have a good show.’ Class. Class. Andy didn’t turn around,” Seacrest claimed.
Ripa didn’t seem to believe that Seacrest’s story was valid. She said it didn’t work that way.
The queen of the morning show was absent as she had no hosting duties on New Year’s Eve; Rather, she was at home in NYC with her husband Mark Consuelos.
Mean jab: Last year, Cohen caused quite a bit of controversy when he referenced the ABC show Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve when he referenced “Ryan Seacrest’s group of losers performing.”
But she said she spoke to Cohen. ‘That is not true. Said he was trying to get your attention,” Ripa piped up.
That comment now seems very uncomfortable as Cohen went on his radio show on Wednesday to insist he never saw Ryan there.
‘For real?’ Ryan replied on Live. “Honestly… we’re within 10 feet of each other on the show.”
This comes after Ryan and Andy had a falling out over alcohol. A week ago, Seacrest told Entertainment Weekly that it was a “good idea” for CNN to ban alcohol consumption on air.
Last year, Cohen said he drank on the air. And he caused quite a bit of controversy when he referenced the ABC show Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve when he referenced “Ryan Seacrest’s group of losers performing.”
It’s been a bad week for Cohen.
On Tuesday, Andy shocked viewers when he dropped the F-Bomb during his Watch What Happens Live show while discussing the celebrity death trend on TikTok.
Cohen used the curse word during the Jackhole Of The Day segment.
“For the past two weeks, people have been sending me videos of their loved ones telling them I’m dead,” Cohen said.
Bad week: Cohen shocked viewers when he dropped the F-bomb during his show ‘Watch What Happens Live’ as he spoke on TikTok about the trend in celebrity deaths
“I don’t want to see people’s reactions to my death,” Cohen said, adding that he’s already scared to death and doesn’t follow the trend.
The celebrity death trend on TikTok is someone lying to another person about a celebrity death and filming it to see their reaction.
It has also been dubbed the “celebrity death prank.”
Cohen dropped the swear word when he urged fans not to link him to those videos.

“So let me be clear: don’t make, distribute or tag me in any shit-” he paused.
At that moment, he stopped speaking and covered his mouth, realizing he had used profanity.
After catching himself saying the swear word, Cohen headed back to the show.
He later tweeted that it was the “first time in 13 1/2 years” that he had used swear words on Watch What Happens Live.
The dropping of the F-bomb was just the latest bad thing to happen to the New Yorker.
From the past: This comes after Griffin shared an old TMZ clip from five years ago. It featured Real Housewives creator Cohen trying to be funny about replacing the comedian on the CNN show, where he pretended not to know her. Seen with Cooper in 2016
This weekend, Kathy Griffin took a close look at Cohen.
She shared an old TMZ clip from five years ago. It featured Real Housewives creator Cohen trying to be funny about replacing the comedian on the CNN show, where he pretended not to know her.
The cut turned into a scar that keeps hurting the Emmy winner, who wrote on Instagram on Saturday, “Ugh. Every year someone sends me this clip around New Year’s Eve.”
Referring to the Watch What’s Happening Live host, she continued, “This guy was my boss for years. Decided whether to work at Bravo or not. Can you imagine seeing your ex-boss on TMZ like this? Ouch!’
She was referring to the competing show Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Seacrest posting and guests including Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus who wrote: “Anyway I can’t wait to see Miley and Dolly tonight. ”
