Gloria Perez corrected the spelling of a post about the audience of “Travessia” on Twitter, but other users of the social network pointed out that the author was the one who made a mistake.
The post said that the audience on 12/31 “worst index in history for a soap opera at the time,” to which Gloria replied, “In this case, history is with a capital H, okay? You’re welcome. Happy New Year”.
In fact, “history” is spelled with a small H in this case. If the contribution related to a school subject, the use of capital letters would be optional according to the New Orthographic Agreement.
Other users of the social network pointed out the author’s mistake, who replied: “Because they confuse history with history, fake news makes the party.”
Gloria Perez questioned the use of “story” with a lowercase H, but the spelling was correct

This isn’t the first time Gloria has been irritated by critics of Travessia on social media. When a viewer commented that those who don’t watch the soap opera “don’t miss much,” she countered by suggesting the social network user had voted for President Lula: “Did the L, yeah, fia?”
When another profile called the soap opera “with no head or tail,” Gloria replied, “Turn on the tico and the teco and you’ll quickly find the foot and the head.”
