USA: The four occupants of a Tesla fall more than 70 meters from a cliff and come out alive

A car crashed from a height of more than 70 meters on Tuesday, January 3, in California, USA. The four people on board made it out alive. The driver was arrested for “attempted murder and child abuse.”

But how is that possible? This Tuesday, January 3, the California emergency services intervened between Sacramento and San José after a terrible traffic accident, reports BFM TV. According to local police, a white Tesla fell more than 70 meters from a cliff. When the vehicle was completely destroyed, the four occupants got out almost intactmuch to the surprise of the rescuers.

“Life-threatening injuries”

Brian Pottenger, a firefighter in charge of the section involved in this scene, was dispatched to the scene and tweeted about the accident: “The damage to the vehicle is indicativeit crashed and then rolled over several times“.

While they had little hope of finding a survivor, rescuers were amazed to see any sign of life in the car. They “remembered Movement in the front seat through the windshield, with binoculars,” explains the firefighter, adding: “We were very shocked when we found a living victim in the vehicle. It was a moment of hope for us”.

Eventually the two children and two adults in the car got out alive with “non-life threatening injuriesThe San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office reports.

The driver is taken into custody

Police investigators “probably believe this incident was a premeditated act,” the California Highway Patrol said in a statement released Tuesday night.

BFM TV reports that the driver was the Tesla arrested for “attempted murder and child molestation”.. The driver is currently being hospitalized for his injuries taken into custody after discharge from the hospital.
