The quirky look was part of an overall image shift for the star, who ditched fairytale dresses of tulle and lace for cutouts, high slits and latex on the red carpet following her roles in Hulu’s Pam and Tommy series.
More recently, Lily starred alongside Emma Thompson in the British romantic comedy What’s Love Got To Do With It?. and will be starring in a new comedy-mystery film, Providence, this year.
The Downton Abbey actress is also set to return to period drama, starring as wrestler Kevin von Erich’s wife Pam Adkisson in The Iron Claw, a biographical film about Erich’s wrestling dynasty, and as a Hollywood child actress in the Italian drama Finalmente L’alba” in the 1950s.
