The conference is an annual event for UK farmers, held in Oxford during the first week of January.

This year’s conference celebrated the 77th anniversary since the first session in 1936.

It comes after Anne was named the hardest-working queen in 2022 with a staggering 214 engagements, research has found.

The 72-year-old claimed the crown with official engagements last year, a whopping 30 more royal engagements than her older brother King Charles, who made 181.

Research, conducted by Reboot SEO Company and based on entries published in the Court Circular, also revealed that Prince William had completed 126 engagements while Kate Middleton took on just 90.

Anne has long been known as the hardest working queen, although Charles took first place in 2019 and 2020.

Elsewhere, Prince Edward was third with 143 engagements, while Sophie Wessex was fourth with 138 engagements.

Meanwhile, the Queen Consort managed 102, while the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester hovered around a similar number – 100 and 94 respectively.

The Duke of Kent performed 78 engagements and Princess Alexandra 44.

For each member of the royal family, the numbers are significantly lower than in previous years.

The Princess Royal claimed the crown with 387 official engagements in 2021, more than 100 events more than in 2022.

Meanwhile, she was just two ahead of Charles, 73, who hit 385.
