Will Smith works on his spirituality.
Smith was spotted arriving in Mumbai, India over the weekend. The trip marks the first time the actor has been seen in public since punching comedian Chris Rock in the face onstage during the 2022 Academy Awards.
Smith traveled to India for spiritual reasons, specifically to practice yoga and meditation, sources told People Magazine.
A Smith representative did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

Smith apologized to Rock after he slapped him over a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s baldness. The actor has since been banned from attending Oscars for the next 10 years.
“I accept and respect the Academy’s decision,” the actor said in a statement available to Fox News Digital at the time.
Prior to the decision, Smith resigned from the academy.

Ahead of Smith’s trip, Pinkett Smith revealed on her show Red Table Talk that the family is “focused on deep healing” after the Oscar smack.
Rock’s mom recently addressed the slap.
“You responded to your wife throwing the side eye at you and you made her day because she was thinking about the laugh when it happened,” Rose, a motivational speaker, told WIS’s Billie Jean Shaw.

Rose added that like many others, she was watching the Oscars at home and initially thought the moment was staged.
However, once Smith started using “profanity,” she knew it was real.
“When he hit Chris, he hit all of us. He really hit me,” Rose told the outlet.
