Yesterday we learned that Naadei Lyonnais and Mehdi Bousaidan would not be returning in their respective roles as host and narrator in the third season of the island of love. Immediately, fans wanted to know who would take the torch.

A note fell on the Instagram account of the crisp reality show in the evening when it became known that the roles would be reversed for the third version.
While many immediately thought of a male host and female narrator, others believed it meant a former candidate had won the mandate.
We now know that this is the first theory since Love Island production was finally announced that’s due to us a animator this spring.
This is none other than Olivier Dion, whom we met at the Star Académie in 2012.
Unfortunately for future islanders, Olivier is already in a relationship with influencer Emy-Jade Greaves!
The role reversal is a first for the franchise, as all versions of Love Island that air around the world have been hosted by women and narrated by men.
The singer thus succeeds Naadei, who in turn declared on social networks that he was preparing for “new projects, surprises and new facets”.
It has also been confirmed that the identity of the new narrator would be announced shortly.
We can’t wait to see that and also learn the identity of who will replace Mehdi Bousaidan.
