12 heels, generous décolleté, a team of men on duty, explosive sex appeal, unbeatable when it comes to solving cases: the policewoman Luisa Ranieri returns to prime time on Rai1 on Sunday 8th.
After the record ratings of the first season, the series Investigations of Lolita Lobosco 2 is still played by the Neapolitan actress, directed by Luca Miniero, produced by Luca Zingaretti and Angelo Barbagallo from the novels by Gabriella Genisi (Sonzogno and Marsilio), set in Bari. Our heroine with the gun faces her young and zealous boyfriend (the very good Filippo Scicchitano), her colleagues Giovanni Ludeno and Jacopo Cullin, the mother Lunetta Savino, the friend Bianca Nappi.
What’s irresistible about Lolita?
“Modernity. She is a woman from the south but far from clichés, projected into the future. She is passionate but does not need a man to feel complete. He puts work before love.”
Does it look like her?
«Lolita is happy and sometimes melancholic like me. I envy him his ruthlessness. As for the work, which I also adore, I have put my affection at the center of everything. And I’m committed every day to strengthening my relationship as a couple.”
For her 49th birthday, her husband Luca Zingaretti dedicated a love poem to her on social media: Did you expect it?
“I never even dreamed of hearing about it from friends on the phone. It was nicer than getting a diamond.”
Are you happy with your career?
“Of course. Even if it had its ups and downs, I never rode success and had the strength to stop waiting for the right opportunity. That penalty made me stronger. The public loves me.”
At the end of the year he will be 50: Are you afraid?
“I’m just starting to worry because others are reminding me. A woman’s age is a cultural issue: everyone feels obligated to emphasize it, they remind you that you have a deadline like yogurt. I’m trying to live it well.”
Have roles increased for an actress over 40?
“It’s still difficult to imagine yourself in roles other than wife or mother. But things are evolving slowly, the first Italian woman PM is a symptom of change.”
Are you conscious of your sex appeal like Lolita?
«I discovered it late, I was once a fanatic and tried to shed my powers of seduction. Now I’m glad to have it.”
Antonella Clerici: “Sex, transgression and a few tweaks: my life is beautiful like this”
Will you make your directorial debut?
“I would like to, but everything in its own time. Now I’m on the set of Ferzan Ozpetek’s film Monte Olympus, three hours of makeup a day to change the connotations. And I’m involved in the production: we’re developing some projects with Luca.”
what would you like to do
«After the cartoon Food Wizards dedicated to healthy eating, we want to produce another animated film to teach the youngest about civic education».
What do you love most about your job?
«The opportunity to live many lives and to discover aspects of myself that I didn’t suspect. I had vowed not to do any more nude scenes, then I stripped naked on the set of It Was the Hand of God. I’ve never regretted it.”
