Two of the stars of the film Everything Everywhere All At Once made a splash at the 34th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival held at the Palm Springs Convention Center.
Michelle Yeoh and Stephanie Hsu, who played their daughter in the farcical comedy-drama film, were side-by-side for a series of snaps ahead of the ceremony, which honored some of the film’s best.
Later that night, Yeoh received the International Star Award in recognition of her acclaimed performance in Everything Everywhere All At Once.

During the celebratory evening, the two actresses posed together in their respective ensembles while photographers snapped away.
Yeoh (born Michelle Yeoh Choo Kheng), 60, showed off her youthful side in a light blue skirt designed to look rumpled.
The unique skirt was paired with an orange and black patterned top, black leggings and matching boots.
To complete her look, the Malaysian actress had her long raven locks parted back and pulled back into a ponytail.

She finished off her ensemble by having her long dark locks styled into pigtails and pulled up from her shoulders.
Hsu also had the privilege of saying a few kind words about Yeoh before calling her onto the stage to collect her prize.
“Michelle Yeoh is everything in the exciting film Everything Everywhere All at Once. In one of the most memorable roles of her career, Yeoh plays Evelyn Wang, a Chinese-American woman recruited to save the multiverse,” festival chairman Harold Matzner said in a statement. “For this film, which is an amazing showcase for Michelle Yeoh, we are honored to present her with the International Star Award, Actress.”

Along with Yeoh, other actors and filmmakers honored at this year’s Women Talking festival included Cate Blanchett (Desert Palm Achievement Award, actress), Colin Farrell (Desert Palm Achievement Award, The Banshees Of Inisherin) and Sarah Polley (Director of the Year). ), Austin Butler (Breakthrough Performance Award, Elvis) and Viola Davis (Chairman’s Award, The Woman King).
Yeoh is an internationally acclaimed Malaysian-born actress who rose to fame in Hong Kong action films in the 1990s.
