Family survives after car falls off 75metre cliff; Father is suspected Check

A family of four survived after their vehicle, a Tesla, crashed 250 feet in California.

The case was recorded Monday (2) as physician Dharmesh Patel, 41, his wife, also 41, and two children, ages four and seven, were walking along a road at the edge of the Devil’s Slide cliff in County San Mateo .

The vehicle overstepped the track boundary and, according to witnesses, crashed “several times” onto the local rocks.

The fire brigade was called to the region and flew over the scene of the accident.

Using binoculars, rescuers noticed that the two people in the front seat of the car were moving.

“We were really shocked to discover live people inside the vehicle. It was a moment of great hope,” said Brian Pottenger, representative of the area’s fire department, in an interview with NBC News.

They devised a rescue strategy and descended ropes to save the survivors. The video of an excerpt from the salvage shows the destruction of the vehicle after the crash.

According to local police, all occupants of the vehicle were conscious at the time of the salvage. They were still hospitalized this afternoon, but their health status has not been disclosed.

Police suspect the doctor who was driving the vehicle intentionally threw the car off the cliff.

“Based on the evidence gathered, investigators have determined that this incident may have been a premeditated act,” the California Highway Patrol said in a statement.

The doctor faces three counts of attempted murder and two counts of child molestation.
