The Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights in Palestine denounced Thursday that more than 2,000 Palestinians have died in Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip over the course of this century.

According to the Arab Unity report, 2,146 Palestinians have died in the bombings by Zionist forces, while 378 children and 86 women are reported among the dead.
According to the document, between 2000 and 2022, 349 Palestinians were killed in their homes, while 3,332 homes were damaged by drone strikes.

“Palestinian residents of Gaza have had shocking experiences during Israeli attacks, characterized by brutality and violation of international legal norms and human rights principles,” the center said.
According to the Palestinian NGO, Israeli drones “continue to fly over the Gaza Strip, creating a permanent state of tension in the population and bringing back past traumatic experiences in the minds of the civilian population.”
Last August, the Zionist Air Force launched an offensive against Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas)-controlled territory that killed a total of 49 Palestinians.
The Palestinian authorities recently denounced the killing of more than 220 people across Palestine in Tel Aviv over the past year, with 9,000 injured and 6,500 arrested.
