Britney Spears has taken to Instagram to target her younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears, who spoke candidly about being related to the pop star in the premiere of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
“Are we saying it was hard being my sister???? Hmmmmmmmmmm…. Really???” Britney began her lengthy message alongside photos highlighting an accessory nerve injury to the spine, something the superstar previously revealed she suffers from.

“Pssss here are pics of what nerve damage can do…which I have on the right side of my body and gets numb every night!!!” she noted. “No victim story or crying about it because I was never a big deal… I sat in a chair 10 hours a day and had no rights for 4 months!!! They hurt me and nothing was done except I lost 15 years of my life because my family owned my name.”
The ‘Piece of Me’ singer concluded by writing, “I’m honestly floored by the difficulties you say you had having me as your sister… I’m sorry you feel this way but bump Don’t ever step on my broken foot in a kitchen telling me to go to the doctor because my foot infection could infect your royal children!!!”
On the first episode of Fox’s new competition show on Wednesday (January 4), Jamie Lynn broke down in tears as she spoke about her older sister. “Growing up, my sister became famous, worldwide famous, when I was very young,” she said. “I’m so proud of her, love her to death, but I don’t know. Sometimes I feel like I don’t really have anything to myself.”
The Zoey 101 actress added that she is “fighting[s] with constant self-esteem” and that she wants to have her “own identity” and “to be seen as such [her] own person” outside of her relationship with Britney.
