Why Shailene Woodley is ‘done’ after trying to reconcile with Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers’ attempt to win Shailene Woodley back ultimately didn’t work. Days after Rodgers was photographed with Bucks heiress Mallory Edens at an NBA game, E! reports that Woodley isn’t interested in dating her ex-fiancé Rodgers again. Your relationship is over.

“[They] are not dating,” a source said, explaining that “Shailene was trying to give it another go and was spending time with Aaron. But she quickly saw that everything was on his terms and nothing would change. There was no reason to move on and she’s done with it again.”

Rodgers was very public when he first tried to woo Woodley again after their split in February. Rodgers publicly apologized for his controversy over COVID vaccine misinformation and wrote to Woodley in an Instagram post in late February that he loved her.

“@shailenewoodley thank you for letting me chase after you for the first few months since we met and for finally catching up with you and being a part of your life,” he wrote. “Thank you for always having my back, for the incredible kindness you show me and everyone you meet and for showing me what unconditional love looks like, I love you and am grateful to you.”

A source told People in early March that Woodley was a little skeptical about a reconciliation with Rodgers.

“Both had intense work schedules during the fall and were unable to focus on their relationship,” the source said. “Now that Aaron’s season is over, he wants to try again. He thinks Shailene is very special. However, she is more hesitant.”
