A panicked deer crashed through the front door of the She Said Butcher Shop in Moorhead, Minnesota at high speed on Saturday – to the surprise of both the animal and the shopkeeper.
“It was truly an ordeal and I’m really not sure who was more scared at the time, me or the deer, but overall it was quite a terrifying experience,” store owner Melissa Evans wrote in a comment on the video.
Just after 1 p.m., the deer came darting through the glass doors like a flying reindeer, splashing glass across the entire lobby as the animal slithered to a halt, surveillance cameras showed.

Just after 1pm the deer came darting through the glass doors like a flying reindeer, glass splattering throughout the lobby before losing its balance
The frightened animal was so frightened that it lost its balance and began squirming on the ground. When she got to her feet, the animal was standing still, stunned, in the center of the store.
‘Come in here!’ a female voice can be heard screaming as another said, “Oh my God!”
At the sound of human voices, the animal panicked again and ran towards a nearby window, trying to jump through. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to break the glass and it fell to the ground.
She tried again before storming out the way she had come.
“One deer decided to come in and warm up but realized it was a butcher shop and drove right back out,” the store’s Facebook wrote in an announcement that the store would be closing for a cleanup.

“She did quite a bit of damage on her way in and out,” the post reads. “Apart from a smashed door, a hole in the wall and a few broken plants, everything else came out unscathed… I hope the deer is okay and she’s back telling her friends the story about the crazy experience she’s having today.” had when she escaped the butcher.
