The Duchess of Sussex has been warned that Americans could turn against her and she could face a major backlash after the release of her husband Spare’s memoir.
Meghan Markle, 40, has been told the US is fed up with her “endless whining and grievances” following her recent claims against the royal family.
Last month Meghan and her husband Prince Harry, 38, released a six-part documentary series on Netflix in which they revealed their feelings of mistreatment by the British press and their escape from British life to the US.
They say they retired to America for the sake of “freedom,” and in the aftermath have portrayed a much happier life at their home in Montecito, California.

But amid the series in which they made bombastic claims against the royal family and the Duke of Sussex’s explosive memoir Spare, in which he makes a series of allegations against the royal family, a Washington-based commentator has warned Meghan that the Americans have grown weary of their claims against the royals.
Nile Gardiner, a foreign policy expert, told Express.co.uk: “It is striking that Meghan has received very little support from the woke liberal elites who have not come into force to defend her.
“The level of Meghan’s vanity and arrogance has even turned off some of her natural allies on the American left.”
He went on to say that her and Harry’s recent revelations had “spectacularly backfired” and not lived up to their expectations.

Not only has it alienated the British people, but Garner believes it has not garnered significant support in America.
He explained that Americans don’t like endless whining and complaints from Meghan,
and referred to them as the “disconnected from reality” of the American people.
He said, “Americans have no time for their grievances against the British monarchy or grievances about being a victim.”
Mr Gardiner added that the royal family remains deeply loved by Americans – a sentiment that has grown steadily since the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September.
When the Queen died, there was a huge wave of mourning across America and the US flags were flown at half-mast for over a week.
This love for the royal family suggests that Meghan and Harry’s attacks won’t be as popular as they might have hoped.
During the Netflix docuseries, Meghan joked about having to curtsy to the late Queen after Harry recounted the conversation he had with his wife when he first introduced her to Her Majesty.
In one clip, the Duke referred to “institutional gaslighting” before Meghan told the camera, “I wasn’t thrown to the wolves, I was fed to the wolves.”
The pair have continued to make extraordinary claims against individual members of the royal family, with the biggest coming from Harry.
