The Bachelors 2023: Sportsbet opens the market on how bad the ratings will be

The depressing future of the Bachelor franchise is revealed as players bet on how BAD the ratings will be, rather than the women most likely to win

A leading betting site is inviting gamblers to wager on how poorly tonight’s premiere of The Bachelors will do in the TV ratings.

Sportsbet has opened a market for the show’s season launch, with current odds suggesting it will drop without a trace.

The Over 350,000 Subway Viewers category has a quota of $2, but the Under 350,000 Subway Viewers option has a lower quota of $1.72.

If the betting audience is right and The Bachelors has under 350,000 viewers in five cities, then it’s fair to say the show is a failure.

Nowadays, a show that debuts below 400,000 Subway viewers is considered a write-off, as it’s very difficult to build an audience from such a low base.

Unfortunately for Channel 10, the only sportsbet market for The Bachelors concerns its ratings, suggesting little interest in the series’ content.

Unlike previous years, there are no markets predicting who will win the 2023 season or if the suitors will find love at the end of the show.

As a franchise first, The Bachelor’s upcoming tenth season, titled The Bachelors, will see three suitors – Felix von Hofe, Jed McIntosh and Thomas Malucelli – looking for love.

The series has also relocated from Sydney to the Gold Coast.

The remastered format promises to be full of drama, betrayal and of course romance – with two suitors getting on one knee and proposing to their chosen girls.

Additionally, Channel 10 has decided to take inspiration from the US version of the series and will be introducing the “Bachelor Pad”.

All three men can now invite the candidates back to their penthouse at Q1 Resort on the Gold Coast.

This is where participants go when they want to have a secret tryst; There’s a huge bed, a jacuzzi, and a few sex toys to add some excitement.
