Anitta announced in early December 2022 that she had been diagnosed with the EpsteinBarr virus, which can be one of the causes of multiple sclerosis, after worrying fans when she ended up in the hospital. According to the singer, actress and friend Ludmila Dayer was the one who suggested the possible diagnosis.

“When the results came in, I had the same virus as Ludmila in the initial stages. Nowadays there is no coincidence. Fortunately, by fate, I managed not to get to the stage where Ludmila arrived. She has been a blessing in my life,” he told Anita.

“If I’m talking to you here today, walk, breathe, it’s because she’s helped me so much,” the artist continued. Ludmilla, known for taking part in the soap opera Malhação, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis last September after a yearlong investigation.
