A TikTok and YouTube video helped police track down and arrest a speeding motorcyclist after he fled police after a wild police chase that led officers through two Georgia counties.
The male suspect, who has not been publicly identified, meandered between cars through Henry and Clayton counties as Georgia state police officers gave chase. After the soldiers lost contact with the vehicle, officers from the Clayton County Police Department intervened.
Before the pursuit ended, the speed demon suspect managed to record them on their social media, which eventually brought it to the attention of investigators.
Clayton County Lieutenant Reimer discovered the suspect was riding a rare motorcycle — a 2022 Triumph Street Triple RS. According to a Clayton County Police Department press release, registration records also showed the sportbike was unique to the area, which also revealed the identity of the rider.
When officers went to the suspect’s home in Riverdale, about 15 miles from Atlanta, the driver confessed that he was the person who fled from the Georgia State Patrol Troopers. The man was issued 12 arrest warrants and taken into custody.

Lieutenant Reimers of Clayton County scoured social media and was able to locate a video on TikTok and YouTube that appears to have been recorded by the suspect.
Investigation software also helped Reimers identify the motorcycle, which was a rare model and the only one of its kind registered in the area.
The vehicle was registered to one person at Shangrila Circle in Riverdale. The Instagram handle was noted by Lieutenant Reimers, according to the press release.
During the investigation, Reimers found photos of the motorcycle at the suspect’s place of residence on the suspect’s social media. He then contacted the Georgia State Patrol and shared with them the information he had found.
On December 14, 2022, a Georgia State Patrol Trooper came to the Sector 4 precinct to meet with Lt. Reimers, and after the meeting, both officers traveled to the 1000th Block of Shangrila Circle, Riverdale, GA for a knock and talk”.
Officers were able to speak to and see the suspect’s motorcycle, who then admitted that he was the driver who fled the Georgia State Patrol Trooper in the original incident.
“Without the diligent efforts of Lieutenant Reimers to go above and beyond the call of duty, the perpetrator most likely would not have been identified and could have continued to endanger the citizens of Clayton County,” the press release said.

When contacted the Clayton County Police Department for the suspect’s identity, they escalated the investigation to the Georgia State Patrol, who played the lead in the case.
The Georgia State Patrol did not immediately respond to ‘s request for the suspect’s identity.
