A fake millionaire who is still accused of cheating on women he allegedly seduced

A fake millionaire once convicted of fraud is said to have done it again, fooling at least three women he had seduced with enticing promises.

Serge Rivard – who previously presented himself as Danny Langevin, Danny Carbonneau, Danny Gauthier, Adam Quintal, Christian Leroux, Enzo Moretti and Jean-François Savoie – was arrested in Montreal on December 21 for fraud offenses allegedly committed in April 2022.

Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu police confirm that the 58-year-old man had at least one victim on his territory. Our investigative office has identified two more in the Saint-Hyacinthe and Saint-Eustache regions in the last few days.

According to our information, Serge Rivard used the dating site Badoo to communicate with his victims, again under false names. He would then quickly present himself as a multi-millionaire heir and business owner, promising his victims homes, cars and trips.

He would have pretended not to have access to his funds and bank accounts for a limited period of time in order to extort thousands of dollars from these vulnerable women.

Keep in mind that Serge Rivard got a lot of media attention in 2016 for romance cheating stories.

Jailed, the 50-year-old must return to court for his release investigations this week.
