Alliance of Lima presented his 2023 squad at the Blue and White Afternoon last Sunday 8th January. One of the innovations in the familiar side was the presence of defender Carlos Zambrano, who had been announced hours earlier as the new blue and white player. After becoming official, “León” fulfilled his dream of playing in Peru again and defending the intimate kit, as he said in 2019.
“Honestly, if I go back to Peru, I definitely want to play for Alianza Lima. I’m not sure if I’ll end up in Alianza Lima or Cantolao because it means a lot to me too. I’ve never played professionally in the Alianza,” he revealed on the program Al ángulo.
Similarly, Jefferson Farfán returned to his loved ones’ club in 2021 and – as if that wasn’t enough – emerged as a two-time champion, after which he ended his football career. With that in mind, in this note we tell you which players from the Peru team could play Alliance of Lima after expressing his desire to wear blue and white.
