He explained this to the media on Monday, the day after his team’s last game of the season.

“[Je vais] Take the next few days to really be able to reflect and have important conversations that will dictate and determine the best decision for me and my family,” he said.

McVay added that he wants to “take the appropriate amount of time” to make a decision about his future, but also said that he “don’t feel like he’s even done with coaching.”

After winning the Super Bowl in 2021, the Rams had a disastrous 2022 season. The California team went 5-12. She also saw several of her cronies, including Matthew Stafford, Aaron Donald, and Cooper Kupp, fall in battle during the campaign.

Since joining the Rams in 2017 and becoming the most successful head coach in NFL history, McVay has gone 60-38. The 36-year-old has a valid contract until the end of the 2026 season.
