Chris Hemsworth’s wife Elsa Pataky transformed into an older woman to give the Hollywood star some comfort regarding his health concerns.
In a viral clip from Chris’ Disney+ docuseries Limitless, Elsa is set to look like an 87-year-old version of herself with makeup, a wig and prosthetics.
The 39-year-old Thor star, who recently discovered he was genetically predisposed to Alzheimer’s, took part in the “experiment” to ease his fear of aging.
The purpose of the exercise was for Chris to see what his wife would look like if they grew old together – which might not happen due to his above-average likelihood of developing Alzheimer’s, a progressive brain disorder that destroys memory, among other things becomes important mental functions.
Chris, who said on the show his biggest fear is not remembering his wife and children, believed he was meeting an older fan when he was actually going to dinner with Elsa.
At first, Elsa wasn’t sure if she wanted her husband to see her as an older woman.
“I’m not sure I want Chris to see me like that,” she said.
When they met, the pair shared a tender kiss and hug before Chris told his wife, 46, “You’re still beautiful.”
The scene has since gone viral on TikTok, with fans describing it as “romantic” and “heartbreaking.”

He made the reveal in a new interview with Vanity Fair in which he’s promoting his new Disney+ show Limitless about health and fitness.
After blood tests were done for the program, he was told his chance of developing Alzheimer’s was “between eight and 10 times” higher than the general population, as he is one of only two to three percent of people with two copies of the disease gene is APOE4.

“For me, the positive thing about it was, ‘Right, if I hadn’t known that information I wouldn’t have made the changes I made,'” he said.
“I just wasn’t aware of it, so now I’m grateful that I have in my arsenal the kind of tools to best prepare and prevent things from happening that way.”
As for his emotional coping, “It quickly became sort of a self-deprecating joke, if you will. It’s just the way I am, my family, there’s a sense of humor.

He said with a laugh that since I got the results of his blood test, “I feel like my memory is getting worse. It’s a placebo effect – or it’s happening!’
As a result, Chris lives in fear of contracting the disease and forgetting his wife Elsa Pataky, as well as their daughter India, 10, and twin sons Sasha and Tristan, 8.
“The idea that I can’t remember the life I’ve experienced or my wife, my kids, is probably my biggest fear,” he said.
