Tammin Sursok said a very emotional goodbye to her parents on Monday as she and her family jetted home to the United States after the Christmas holidays in Australia.

The 39-year-old South African-born Australian actress gave her mother Julie and father Daryl a hug at the airport after their family checked in their luggage.

Tammin was joined by her husband Sean McEwen and their two daughters – Phoenix, nine, and Lennon – who will turn three next week.

The former Home and Away star went makeup-free and dressed comfortably for the flight. He was wearing a black t-shirt and dark blue jeans.

She completed her look with black boots and a silver necklace, while her ombre hair was brushed into a natural wave.

Phoenix and Lennon wore matching animal print pajamas for the flight, while Sean also wore jeans and a black hoodie.

After an emotional farewell moment, the happy family posed huddled together for a selfie.

In 2021, the Pretty Little Liars star opened up about why she now speaks with an American accent after being asked during an Instagram Q&A if she was “sad” about losing her native accent.

“I don’t feel any less Australian,” Tammin replied. “Others, however, are sad and often mention it.”

The It’s A Beautiful Thing hitmaker has always said she speaks the way she naturally does because she’s lived in America for most of her adult life.

Earlier this year, during an appearance on Today Extra, Tammin expressed interest in moving Down Under, saying: “My husband and I kept saying we were going back to Australia to split our time in both places.

“And because of work, we’ve been in LA, but I feel like … we’re meant to be here.”
