Royal family believe Prince Harry was ‘kidnapped by a psychotherapy cult and Meghan’

Prince Harry’s family believes he and his wife Meghan Markle were “kidnapped by a psychotherapy cult,” according to a report.

Harry admitted in his memoir Spare that back in 2019 Prince William feared his brother was being “brainwashed” with therapy – sparking the final battle in their strained relationship.

Now a royal source has told The Independent that the family fears they’ve lost him entirely to cult-like beliefs, which they clearly blame on his California actress, wife Markle.

“He was kidnapped by a cult of psychotherapy and Meghan,” the source told the British newspaper.

“Under the circumstances, it is impossible for him to return,” the source said.

Harry’s immediate family, including father King Charles III and stepmother Queen Consort Camilla, also feel “trapped” knowing that anything they say will now be used against them, the source told The Independent.

“They really can’t get involved because everything they say gets shared with the media. It’s impossible to have a conversation or write a letter as there is a risk that anything they say will be made public by Harry, possibly for commercial purposes,” the royal source said.

“Trust has collapsed completely”

In Spare – the memoir officially released on Tuesday – Harry complains about his brother, the 40-year-old heir apparent, refusing to attend any of the therapy sessions.

“His strategy was obvious: I was unwell, which meant I was unwise. As if my entire behavior needed questioning,” Harry wrote – detailing how it “devolved into an argument that spanned 72 hours.”

“Every once in a while, I realized my worst fear was coming true: after months of therapy, after working hard to become more aware and independent, I was a stranger to my older brother,” Harry wrote.

“He couldn’t relate to me anymore,” he said – suggesting the fight led to the brothers’ final text exchange.

“I saved the lyrics. I still have them,” Harry wrote, saying they filled him with “sadness” and “confusion” — though Williams’ messages told him “he loved” him and “would do anything to help him.”

Harry also previously admitted that after his brother allegedly punched him to the ground, he “called my therapist” rather than his wife.

In Harry’s interview bombs

Buckingham Palace has so far refused to comment on Harry’s book or numerous TV interviews.

In it, the king’s youngest son has claimed that even after his painful revelations and accusations, he “wants my father back, I want my brother back”.

He even told ITV’s Tom Bradby that a “reconciliation” “could have a ripple effect around the world.

“Maybe that’s cocky, maybe that’s naive, whatever. But I really feel that,” he said.

The prince thinks this could happen after an apology. However, The Independent’s source insisted, “They will not apologize for not acknowledging Harry’s version of events.”
