A world map made by crisis experts shows which countries are particularly dangerous for travelers in 2023 – and which are not.
Natural disasters, political unrest, medical care or wars – these things should definitely be clarified before you book a trip. Crisis experts at A3M created a world map to get a better overview of the current security risk in different countries. A color system shows how dangerous it is in each country at the moment.
It’s particularly dangerous here
Currently, Ukraine, Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen or countries in Africa such as Libya, Somalia or South Sudan are particularly dangerous and are highlighted in dark red on the map.
Many things were taken into account when developing the map: entry and exit play a role, as well as transport, strikes, infrastructure, health, natural hazards, environment, safety, economic security or special risks.
