With three statuettes — for best comedy of the year, best actress (Quinta Brunson), and supporting actor (Tyler Jones Williams) — this sitcom, which follows the daily lives of a group of teachers at a public elementary school, was an absolute critique and public success in the United States. Its mockumentary format follows a path that titles like The Office or Modern Family have already successfully followed. By the way, he claims public education and the role of teachers. The White Lotus. Although the second season turned it into a series that could have competed in both drama and comedy, this satire has chosen to remain a miniseries, capitalizing on the fact that each season is autonomous. The one that scooped the awards for Best Miniseries and Best Supporting Actress in a Miniseries is the second season, set in Sicily to follow the adventures of guests at a luxury hotel and show how sexual relationships define personal relationships. the house of the dragon. The Game of Thrones prequel travels back in time to the Targaryen family and their dragons. Before the power struggle between the houses, the Targaryens didn’t need others to live out their own Game of Thrones. Palace intrigues are the protagonists of this soap-opera tale with an epic blockbuster format that has shown that the public has not yet had enough of Westeros and that the legacy of Game of Thrones lives on. euphoria. Zendaya wins Best Actress in a Drama for her portrayal of a troubled teenager (with addiction issues and various mental health issues) in this exuberant drama about the excesses and dreams of youth. The bear. The protagonist of this dramatic comedy (or dark comedy-tinged drama) mourns the death of his brother and is concerned about a personal and professional situation that is overwhelming him. yellowstone. It’s a viewership phenomenon in the United States, and it’s being broadcast on a pay channel. This western about a family who owns a ranch has Kevin Costner (outstanding leading actor in a drama) as its visible lead and was the birthplace of an entire franchise that has led to various spin-off series. A brutal success in his country, which was only broadcast in Spain years later on the Paramount Network channel. ozark. The journey of the Byrde family, who had to give up their life in Chicago to quickly move to a wooded region while fleeing the dangerous criminals of a cartel, ended with its fourth season. One of the show’s standout characters is that of Julia Garner (Best Supporting Actress), a young woman with a criminal past who is not afraid to engage in shady dealings. Where to see: on Netflix.
dahmer. Milwaukee butcher Jeffrey Dahmer stars in this Ryan Murphy-produced tale starring Evan Peters (Outstanding Actor in a Miniseries) dedicated to the cause. Dahmer was accused of murdering 17 men with whom he practiced necrophilia and cannibalism after his death. Her fictional story was a huge hit with streaming audiences and her costume was a hit at Halloween. Where to see: on Netflix.

The Dropout. Elizabeth Holmes rose to the top thanks to founding the startup Theranos, which promised blood tests with a single drop in minutes. It all turned out to be a scam. But before that, he managed to trick large fortunes into investing in what he sold as a health revolution. Amanda Seyfried (Best Actress in a Miniseries) steps into Holmes’ skin and even manages to imitate his idiosyncratic and deep intonation in a goosebump-inducing transformation in front of the camera. imprisoned with the devil. Renowned author and screenwriter Dennis Lehane is behind this gritty series, also based on true events (the big TV trend of 2022). A cop’s son ends up in prison where he must earn the trust of a serial killer in order to have his sentence reduced and tell him where his victims’ bodies are.
