“As for the information about the presence of an ax in connection with the altercation with Eduardo Malpica, this information was brought to the investigators from the beginning. However, this is still unconfirmed and investigators are inviting the person who would be involved to come forward to shed light on this part of the story.”
Information about the presence of an ax during the altercation in front of the Zénob bar in downtown Trois-Rivières “was presented to investigators from the start,” says the Trois-Rivières police force.
“All hypotheses are still on the table,” the police said.
The 44-year-old has been missing since November 26.
Witnesses say he walked out of the downtown Bar Zénob around 2:15 a.m. on Saturday night while in a trance.
