The Riccione-based real estate agent, 51, who is at risk of being tried for crimes related to money laundering and abusive financial activities, is under investigation by the Rimini Guardia di Finanza. The man, a shareholder in a company in Dubai and a financial adviser with a past as a banker in San Marino, managed their accounts with the banks of the Republic of Titan Luca Bertuzzi on behalf of wealthy clients, according to the investigation coordinated by the deputy prosecutor’s office in San Marino, allegedly the capital before the Italian tax authorities protection. At least 3 million euros were hidden between 2009 and 2017 and belong to a Florentine orthopedist who has already been convicted of tax offenses. In addition, the investigations revealed how the doctor controlled the activities of a trust attributed to Maestro Giancarlo Bigazzi, the Florentine composer and lyricist who died in 2012 after writing songs that sold over 200 million records.
