‘We always have each other!’: Geri Horner, Victoria Beckham and Emma Bunton of the Spice Girls lead the birthday celebrations for Mel C, who turns 49
Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner led the birthday celebrations for her Spice Girls bandmate Mel C as she turned 49 on Thursday.
Posh, 48, Baby Spice, 46, and Ginger Spice, 50, took a trip down memory lane as they shared a selection of photos and videos from years past to mark the occasion.
Victoria joked she’s still trying to find the perfect outfit as she uploaded a clip from her 1997 film in which Mel C gets tired of thinking about which “little Gucci dress” to wear.

Emma, meanwhile, created a sweet video featuring snaps from when they first rose to fame in the ’90s through to music videos and more recent.
She wrote: “Hey birthday girl my bestie @melaniecmusic! Have the best day. Send lots of Bunton hugs, “Because we always have each other.”

Geri also shared some throwbacks from years past and one of them watched an England game wearing England football shirts.
She wrote: “Happy Birthday @melaniecmusic – I hope you are having an amazing day! “If you put two and two together, you will see what our friendship stands for” xxx’ .
Mel B hasn’t posted a birthday message on her social media yet.

It comes after Emma addressed long-standing rumors that the Spice Girls could be touring Australia.
In an exclusive interview with Web, the singer, also known as Baby Spice, said the British girl group is keen to “do more stuff together” and are “waiting for the right time”.
“I know we’d love to do more stuff as a group, but it’s the right time for us all together once again,” said the ’90s sensation.
“We enjoy working together and have talked about things, but nothing is set in stone yet.”

Emma also reflected on her unbreakable bond with her bandmates.
She told Web she will always be close to the girls as they have “been through so much together”.
After the group became the biggest girl band of all time, she said, “No one else will ever understand this relationship between us.”
