Florence again condemned the criticism she received, saying the vicious trolling proved there was “so much more to do”.
Appearing as Vogue’s winter 2023 cover star, she told the publication: “I’ve never been afraid of what’s under the fabric, if I’m happy in it then I’ll wear it.
“Obviously I don’t want to offend people, but I guess my point is: how can my nipples offend you so much? It is very important that we do this.
“I know some people make fun of me for saying that, but if a dress with my breasts showing through encourages people to say, ‘Well, if you were raped, you deserve it.’ ‘It just tells me there’s so much more work to do.’
Fighting back: Florence condemned the criticism she received for her fashion choices, telling Vogue that the vicious trolling proved there was “so much more to do”.
Florence proved she wasn’t paying attention to the trolls when she wore a sheer crop top to the Valentino dinner as part of Paris Fashion Week in October.
Previously, Florence slammed trolls after wearing her stunning pink sheer tulle dress in Rome, slamming those who decided to “publicly destroy a woman’s body”.
She wrote in an impassioned post on Instagram: “What’s interesting to watch and witness is how easy it is for men to publicly, proudly and completely destroy a woman’s body for all to see.
“So many of you aggressively wanted to let me know how disappointed you were with my ‘tiny t**s’ or how embarrassed I should be for being so ‘flat-chested.’

The Don’t Worry Darling star began her post by telling fans she knew the dress would provoke a reaction, but was “excited” to wear the dress.
Alongside a slideshow of snaps, she wrote: “Listen, when I wore this incredible Valentino dress, I knew there was no way that there would be no comment on it. Whether negative or positive, we all knew what we were doing.
“I was excited to wear it, no blink of an eye was nervous. I wasn’t before, during or even now after.’
“Vulgar”: At the time, she hit back at comments from both “vulgar” men and those who chose to “publicly destroy a woman’s body” with their comments.
“What’s interesting to watch and witness is how easy it is for men to completely destroy a woman’s body in public, proudly and for all to see. You even do it with your job titles and work emails in your bio?
While she conceded that this “isn’t the first time, and certainly won’t be the last, that a woman has heard what’s wrong with her body from a crowd of strangers,” Florence said it was “worrying” at how “vulgar” some were men can be.
The actress also addressed her past physical insecurities, revealing that she couldn’t face seeing herself as a teenager.
She added: “It’s not the first time and it certainly won’t be the last time that a woman has heard from a crowd of strangers what’s wrong with her body. What’s worrying is how vulgar some of you men can be.

“I wonder what has become of you that you are so content to rant so loudly about the size of my boobs and body?”
The actress explained she was “very grateful to grow up in a household of very strong, powerful, curvy women” and said she will continue to be “loud about being comfortable.”

“It’s always been my mission in this industry to say ‘f**k it and f**k that’ whenever someone expects my body to morph into an opinion about what’s hot or sexually attractive.”
The Lady Macbeth actress told those who still body-shame women “loudly” in 2020 to “grow up” and “respect people”.
