Chelsea Handler beamed from ear to ear as she braved the rainy weather in the North East in a chic look on Thursday.
The former E! Personality – who is in talks to host The Daily Show – dressed appropriately in a black double breasted trench coat and forest green wellies. The stand-up comedian, 48, added a pair of slim-fitting black pants as she was spotted heading to NBC Studios in New York City.
Shortly after the star appeared on the Today Show, she opened up about her chances of ending up on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah’s departure.

When asked if she would be open to the idea of hosting The Daily Show, Handler said: “Potentially. I mean it’s definitely on the table. I am open to all kinds of conversations.”
Speaking further about getting back on the road, she said, “I’m going to get back on the road. After the special comes out I will be taking a few months off but I will be announcing a new tour very soon. I fell in love with standup again; that’s my favorite.’
Raised in New Jersey, the star wore her light blonde locks in a center parting and voluminous waves. Her glossy hair fell over her shoulders and a pair of delicate hoop earrings were visible just below.
She also wore two thin necklaces and fastened a belt around her waist as she made her way out of the rain.
Handler’s face was completely made up, with prominent black mascara drawing attention to her blue eyes and lip gloss on her pouty lips.

Last month while hanging out with Brooke Shields on her podcast Now What? chatted, Chelsea talked about her personal life.
She revealed that she hasn’t spoken to ex-boyfriend Jo Koy since their split in the summer of 2022 after months of dating.
The Life Will Be the Death of Me writer admitted the two aren’t friends anymore, and she doesn’t think they can be until Koy takes “accountability” for the behavior that contributed to their breakup.
“I mean there has to be some accountability, you know what I mean? Like him about what happened because it was just ridiculous,” she told Shields.

Referring a little to her decision to forego motherhood, she wrote in an Instagram caption: “Thank you for all the love everyone. I’m glad to know that there is a huge community of people who feel empowered and represented by my childless positivity!’
Chelsea added, “You don’t have to conform to societal constructs to live loud and love hard.”
