A Longueuil resident believed to be “dangerous” is wanted by police in connection with a shooting that occurred near Empire Park in Greenfield Park last August.

Alexandre Marceau, 25, has been the subject of a non-targeted arrest warrant since Wednesday, which will not allow police to release the accused until he appears in court.

At approximately 11:30 p.m. on August 25, 2022, the SPAL received calls related to shootings at Empire Park in Greenfield Park.

“The Longueuil Agglomeration Police (SPAL) reminds us that this man is dangerous and is considered armed, so do not try to approach him. All calls will be treated confidentially,” he said in a statement Thursday morning.
The man is wanted in connection with an Aug. 25 shooting at Greenfield Park in which two victims were found with firearms.
The accused is 1.80 meters tall, weighs 90 kilograms, has brown hair and has a tattoo on his face.
