Lisa Marie Presley, singer-songwriter and only daughter of Elvis Presley, was rushed to a California hospital because of cardiac arrest. The illness struck her Thursday morning at her home in Calabasas, a city in Los Angeles County. This was reported by the American tabloid and gossip site TMZ. Elvis’ daughter’s pulse would have started again and the woman would have recovered thanks to immediate resuscitation by health workers, but further testing of her health will be necessary.

A few days ago, Presley attended the Golden Globes with his mother, Priscilla. Presley, a singer-songwriter, mother of three, twins Harper and Finley, and actress and model Riley Keough, who gained notoriety for her acting skills on the 2016 series The Girlfriend Experience, and fourth, Benjamin who died by suicide in July 2020 at the age of 27.

At the Globes, he and his mother witnessed Austin Butler’s victory for his interpretation of King in the biopic of the same name. During his acceptance speech, the actor paid tribute to both Priscilla, 77, and Lisa Marie. “I want to thank the Presley family for opening their hearts, memories and home to me,” the actor said.
