Former President Jair Bolsonaro’s (PL) supporter, actress Cássia Kis, will not renew her contract with Globo after soap opera Travessia.
According to Veja magazine, the channel thought it best to “take a break” from the artist’s image, as there are a number of complaints about her among the channel’s employees.
The actress has garnered controversy since the beginning of the Gloria Perez plot, when she made homophobic comments, participated in coup acts and spread fake news among colleagues. Cássia Kis had previously been banned from participating in the station’s programs.
