At the Friday night it dries up briefly before starting to rain again in places in Vorarlberg and in Mühlviertel and Waldviertel in the second half of the night. Snow only falls above 1,000 to 1,200 meters. The wind will blow light to moderate from southerly directions. In parts of the Mühlviertel and Waldviertel, the wind is also refreshing at times.

There is also occasional rain in the east, with dry sections predominating from East Tyrol to South Styria. From Lake Constance to the Waldviertel moderate to lively, otherwise generally only light west to southwest winds will blow. Temperatures rise to 3 to 11 degrees.
The Saturday it starts almost dry, only along the Northern Alps there are individual showers in the morning. It occasionally snows locally down to the valleys. In particular in the east and south, the sun often appears, on the north side of the Alps it is rapidly approaching, and in the afternoon the rain spreads from the west. The snow line rises to over 1,500 m. The wind turns south during the day and blows strongly in the east, especially at night. Maximum values are between 1 and 10 degrees.
At the Sundaysome rain falls on the eastern and northern half of the Alps. In Styria there can also be local light and freezing rain in the early morning. In the second half of the day, it sometimes rains more, especially along the western northern Alps and the eastern plains. Also, the snow line drops to around 700 meters in the northern Alps at night. From Vorarlberg to Tyrol, it snows a lot. The southwest wind blows light to moderate in the beginning and increases throughout the day. From today’s perspective, strong to stormy gusts are expected in exposed locations in the Eastern Alps. Maximum values are between 4 and 10 degrees.
At the Monday it is still raining or snowing heavily in the south at night. In the morning it snows in the valleys. Also in Lower Austria and Burgenland it will initially rain a little. The snowfall line lies between 400 and 500 m. However, during the morning, precipitation weakens over a wide area and remains cloudy. In the afternoon, some snow will fall in Vorarlberg down to low altitudes. Temperatures adapt to the season and are between 0 and 7 degrees.
