The snaps were taken at the luxurious 5-star Gstaad Palace Hotel, famous for its walking and hiking trails.
Joey joined The Only Way Is Essex in 2019 before leaving the show in 2021 to pursue fashion design.
He previously divided social media followers with a series of alarming posts in which he appeared gaunt and unwell, sparking a mix of worrying news and toxic online abuse.
He told The Sun at the time: “The thing is I’ve always had a long skinny frame, I’m 5ft 11in tall [180cm] So I’m quite tall and I’ve always had a long frame. I may have lost weight, but not because I’m starving myself.
“I weigh 7.5 stone [47kg], but I don’t weigh myself. I don’t care how much I weigh. I’m skinny, it’s not my fault that I’m skinny. I will not apologize to anyone.’
Concern: Joey has recently spoken openly about his struggles to cope with his stardom after appearing on TOWIE and how he’s turned to heavy partying to cope – with many fans commenting on his thin looks
Joey later admitted he barely ate and drank each day after hitting the “stress point” following his departure from The Only Way Is Essex.
Speaking to The Sun, he detailed the difficult aftermath of leaving the show and how his life spiraled out of control – he said he felt like he was going “insane”.
He said: “I left TOWIE to go to uni and do my own thing. But I was constantly being hounded like an animal. Just because I’m in public doesn’t mean I’m not human, it’s like people forget that.
“Looking back at the photos I’ve posted I can see how sad I look. I experienced and endured my emotions and through my gaze I represented that. I didn’t have time to eat. I was so busy at such a young age.’
