Pamela Anderson says she refused to see Pam & Tommy and wouldn’t even meet Lily James when the actress tried to calm her down about the series
Pamela Anderson has revealed she has refused to watch Pam & Tommy, the miniseries about her leaked sex tape with her first husband Tommy Lee.
The show, starring Lily James and Sebastian Stan in the title roles, reportedly upset Pamela when it ran in 2021.
Now Pamela, 55, has told the New York Times that she refused to even meet Lily, 33, when the younger actress wrote to reassure her about the project.

Lily apparently sent a handwritten note asking if she could talk to Pamela, trying to convince her that she just wanted to be proud of her.
At the height of their fame in the 1990s, Pamela and Tommy became the focus of the first major celebrity sex video scandal.
A private video of them making love was stolen and then sold by Rand Gauthier, played by Seth Rogen in Pam And Tommy.
“It was painful enough the first time,” Pamela said. “It’s like one of those things where you go, ‘Really?’ People still capitalizing on this thing?’

Pamela has now taken the reins of her life story and is about to release both a memoir and a Netflix documentary about herself.
She was so anxious to keep her agency on the book that even when she got proofs, she insisted on submitting them herself.
“It was really a matter of life or death. I felt I had to tell my story. And I really couldn’t let anyone but me,” the Baywatch bombshell explained to the New York Times.
Her latest digs at Pam And Tommy come after she revealed she feels ill over the sex tape scandal being dug again in recent years.

In a trailer for her new Netflix documentary, she said, “I locked this stolen tape of my life to survive, and now that it’s all coming back up, I’m sick of it.”
Upon its release, Pam And Tommy made headlines for its sensational, raunchy content, including a scene with a big talking penis.
An Entertainment Tonight source claimed that the series “was very painful for Pamela Anderson and everyone who loves her. It’s shocking that this series is allowed to happen without her consent.’

The insider said Pamela feels “so hurt to this day” by the slump in the sex tape and said the show “brings back a very painful time for her.”
Pamela’s friend Courtney Love called the show “disgusting” and “outrageous,” and wrote on social media, “My heart goes out to Pammy as she continues to cause her complex trauma.”
Saving a few words for the show’s leading lady, she added, “And shame on Lily James, whoever she is.”
