Jeremy Renner shared hospital footage of what he appeared to be as he was brought in for either a CT scan or MRI on Friday.
The 52-year-old Marvel star has begun his “long road to recovery” after surviving a horrific snowplow accident on New Year’s Day.
Renner captioned the video, which saw him being wheeled to a large, high-tech imaging device, “I wish you all a very special night.”

This latest glimpse into Renner’s recovery comes after a source told People the injured actor was “overwhelmed with the love and support.”
The Hurt Locker star has been hospitalized since the New Year, where he was airlifted to a medical facility after being “completely crushed” by a seven-ton snowplow at his Lake Tahoe cabin.
The star has received a flood of fans and famous friends, including members of his Marvel Cinematic Universe family such as Hailee Steinfeld, Evangeline Lilly and Chris Hemsworth.
The star’s sister, Kym Renner, gave People an update in an issue published on Tuesday that her brother is “smashing all progression goals.”
His sister went on to express that both she and other close family members are “thrilled” at the Hawkeye actor’s recovery, adding, “We couldn’t be more positive about the journey ahead. If anyone knows Jeremy, he’s a fighter and doesn’t mess around.

The beloved star, who celebrated his 52nd birthday in intensive care on Saturday, underwent two surgeries to place metal pins around his legs and chest surgery after being left in critical condition after the scary incident.
Along with his doting sister, Jeremy’s friend and fellow actor Colin Farrell recently gave an update on the star’s recovery status.
The Irish actor, who previously starred in SWAT with Renner, told Entertainment Tonight on Sunday: “I’ve been in touch. He’s fine I think,” adding, “All prayers are with him.”
Critical condition: A 911 call log obtained by TMZ showed a call was made after the actor was run over by the snowplow machine, indicating the right side of the actor’s chest collapsed and his torso was crushed
The actor helped a family member with a private vehicle that got stuck in the snow, Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam said during a news conference held on Tuesday, two days after the accident last week.
He used the 14,330-pound snowplow to help the family member before going out to speak to them. During the conversation it was observed that the PistenBully [snow plow] began to roll,” said Balaam. At this point, Renner tried to get back in and was rolled over.
The sheriff added that police do not suspect foul play, nor do they suspect that Renner was even impaired at the time. He said neighbors “came out with towels” and gave him first aid, although neither was a doctor.

On the same day of the conference, a source had informed that Jeremy was awake and speaking.
A 911 call made after the actor was run over by the snowplow machine indicated that the actor’s right side of his chest collapsed and his torso was crushed.
The emergency log obtained by TMZ included notes from the accident showing that Renner heard moans in the background of the call and suffered severe head bleeding and other injuries.
The injuries to his chest and torso reportedly made it difficult for the Marvel star to breathe before he was flown from the scene of the accident to a nearby hospital around 10 a.m. on New Year’s Day near his home in the Reno area.

He later shared a clip of himself being pampered by his supportive sister and mother while receiving a relaxing scalp massage.
“A ‘not great’ day in ICU turned into an amazing spa day with my sister and mom. Thank you so much,” he had written in the caption of a tweet.
Over the weekend on Saturday, Jeremy celebrated his 52nd birthday while still in hospital and uploaded a photo to his Instagram Story the day before as he posed for a picture with his medical team who had supported him on his recovery journey paused.

As he lay in a bed, staff could be seen surrounding the actor, and the star typed, “Thank you Renowned Medical ICU Teal for starting this journey.
Base Chicago also sent Renner their birthday wishes in a heartfelt clip, to which Jeremy, who has volunteered with the organization in the past, kindly responded.
The adorable clip showed children gathered on a stage to send their love and well wishes, with some lettered tags spelling out the actor’s last name.
