“What have I done wrong that I have all this?”, the drama of mother Adele in You’ve got mail: She hasn’t seen her son Giovanni for three years and he closes the envelope. “It has no effect on me.”

In the January 14 episode of “You Have Mail” there is also the story of a mother, Adelethat after leaving her husband she has not had a chance to see her children, especially her son, who tells her to go back to his father or he will not speak to her again. Since then, relations have collapsed. She, Adele, left her father because he was a chauvinist: “I wanted to do a cosmetology course, it didn’t go well for him”. My children stay with me and my ex leaves the house. After a while, he comes before his children back and tells me in a contemptuous tone that he is willing to come back with me. I refuse and he leaves. After some time, my son tells me that he wants to go with his father for the weekend and then I find out that he took all his things. When I talk to my son he tells me that he will only talk to me if I come back with his father. If I see him again it will only be thanks to my ex-mother-in-law”.

Adele is in tears upon seeing her son Giovanni: “You have been my life since the first day you were born. You were a strong emotion. Everything is gone. Help me to still be your mother. i love you madly Give me an explanation”. Unfortunately, however, Giovanni is impassive.
How can you think that I don’t love you, John? Mama loves you, how can I not love you? Since you’ve been gone for three years, a part of my heart has died with you. Let me be your mother because I am your mother. I’m hearing from customers who have it on Facebook through you. Sometimes my daughter Roberta, the sister, shows me TikTok. Sometimes I asked some of his friends. I beg you. John comes back with mom. What did I do wrong that I have all this?
John’s words
Giovanni gives his version of the facts: “My father and mother broke up because of the economic sphere. Let’s say my mother lacked material things, that’s why they broke up. I don’t talk to my grandmother anymore because of mom because she only spread bad news around”. Giovanni seems to be becoming more and more adamant, even explaining that he threw away the flowers his mother gave him: “You win a son not with flowers, but with actions. I don’t feel anything for my mother.” Giovanni reveals that he is cold precisely because of his mother’s behavior. Maria De Filippi tries to make the boy think, but he: “If he me loved, if he didn’t tell my paternal grandmother, tell Giovanni that he died for me”. Giovanni closes the envelope with his mother continuing to cry. Maria De Filippi tells him: “You are not your father, you are your mother’s son. And the love you feel for Mom is different than what she can feel for Dad.”
