It looks like the Modfather has become the “Mogfather” as Paul Weller makes his acting debut on the big screen – alongside an adorable tabby cat.

The former Jam frontman is embarking on a new Hollywood career at the age of 64 and immediately finds himself in the cherished company of Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan on the set of upcoming epic war film Blitz.

Directed by Sir Steve McQueen, the film tells the story of the Nazi bombing raids that terrorized London in the 1940s.
