Parking incorrectly in Australia can be expensive. As reported by Auto Plus this Saturday, January 14, a motorist complained about a fine for inconvenient parking duringit protruded only 30 centimeters.
“That’s one of the biggest penalties for thirty centimeters”
In the photo posted to Reddit by user @u/DatabassAdmin, the car, a white Kia, can be seen parked on the street along a sidewalk in an authorized area. It just overhangs the pavement and therefore encroaches on the boat by a few centimeters (lowering the pavement). Apparently, the vehicle was in the way of its neighbor, who was unable to return home. A mistake that this driver therefore a Fine of 180 euros.
According to the Reddit user, who blamed his wife for the mistake, “It’s one of the biggest fines for a foot.” He says he regrets the fine but accepts it in light of that there was a park “stupid misstake”. He adds that this is the first fine his partner has ever received in 20 years of driving.
