The new villain promises to be even more ruthless and dangerous than Thanos, and could give the Avengers a lot more work to do when they finally clash in the team’s next two films.
But the reason the villain has been kept in the quantum realm all along and is only now returning will be revealed in the new AntMan movie, and a recently released promotional image may have given away the big factor driving the movie’s plot beyond just too rotate, but it will also result in Kang being able to break free.
Look at the photo in question:
According to insiders CanWeGetSomeToast, “The ‘deal’ that Scott and Kang talk about in the latest AntMan and the Wasp: Quantumania trailer is that Scott gets the power source of this chair in exchange for Cassie’s life.”an energy source that “lost in the microverse after Janet found out about Kang’s true intentions and betrayed him”.
That said, Janet Van Dyne, the original Wasp rescued from the Quantum Realm in the second film, already knew and betrayed Kang by making the villain’s chair’s power source disappear, a chair that would allow him to enter the Quantum Realm leaving. so he gets stuck there.
Whether or not this information is true we won’t know until the film opens next month, but the insider has good credibility and it’s entirely possible that it’s true. However, treat it as RUMOR.
