THE Critics Choice Awards one of the awards that serves as an Oscar thermometer presented his trophies on the 15th in a ceremonial presentation by Chelsea handler and characterized by beautiful speeches and honors. Among the winners Everything everywhere at the same time took the lead, with awards for Best Picture, Best Director (for Daniel Kun and Daniel Scheinert), Supporting Actor for Ke Huy Quan, original screenplay and more. On the small screens Better call Saul became prestigious in its senior year, earning awards for Best Drama Series, as well as Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor Bob Odenkirk and Giancarlo Esposito.
The award held moments to appreciate the career and roles played by Janelle Monae on screen, but the actress who recently starred Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mysteryawarded Best Comedy competed with Angela Basset in the Best Supporting Actress category and the interpreter for Queen Ramonda in Black Panther 2 in the end won. Basset gave an emotional speech about screen viewing and joined the likes of Sheryl Lee Ralph (awarded Abbott Elementary School) as actresses with moving speeches. Who stole the limelight at the end of the evening was Brendan Fraserwho won the Best Actor Award The whale and entered the stage emotionally and moved the audience.
In addition, The Dropout received the award for Best Miniseries and Abbott Elementary received the Statuette for Best Comedy Series. in the middle of the ceremony Jeff Bridges also received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
