Aaron Carter’s on-off fiancée Melanie Martin went to LA with her son Prince for a day of shopping on Monday – a day after it was claimed the late singer suffered a drug overdose and didn’t drown in his bathroom.
Martin, 35, who welcomed Prince, 14 months, with Carter in November 2021, wore one of the star’s branded hoodies and jeggings when she visited The Grove.
Prince was the spitting image of his father – who died in November – with his blonde locks parted to one side.

Martin also quit days before a charity concert held in Aaron’s memory and held by his estranged brother, Nick Carter.
Aaron’s family claimed he suffered a drug overdose after coroners told them no water was found in his lungs, ruling out drowning as the cause of death.
The stricken singer was found dead in his bathtub at his California home on November 5 after police responded to a report of “drowning”.

In an interview with TMZ, Martin said she found text messages on Carter’s phone from a man demanding $800 for an unknown substance.
Carter, who completed rehab stints in 2011 and 2017, reportedly replied to the man that he no longer needed the substance, to which the man replied that it didn’t matter as he still owed the money.
He then asked if he was being threatened, where the news ends.
Martin submitted the text exchange to the Los Angeles Police Department as evidence.

The surviving influencer, who recently gained custody of the one-year-old son she shares with Carter, cryptically accused Instagram user @momoh of “giving supplies to gangster Aaron” via Instastory on Monday night.
Both Martin and Carter’s mother revealed that the LA County Coroner’s Office had informed them that no water was found in the star’s lungs, meaning he could not have drowned.
They’re awaiting the results of a toxicology report to determine what was in his system.
Her claims echo the way Carter’s older sister Leslie died of a drug overdose in 2012, aged just 25.

Aaron and Melanie began dating in 2020 and got engaged in June of that year before having their son, Prince, in November 2021.
They were living apart when the singer was found dead. His mother Jane is said to have never met his son.
